The train has 13 air-conditioned saloon cars, which are decorated in luxurious taste in keeping with the royal theme. The Kitchen car offers cuisine from around the world in its two restaurants. The 4 service cars are for the staff and attendants of the royal luxury train.
The attendants, who wear Rajasthani clothing, in keeping with the ambience of the Palace on Wheels, look after the guests who stay in cabins for 2 in the air-conditioned coaches. The cabins have attached toilets, channel music and an intercom system. Guests can order food from the pantry on each coach and relax in the lounge in each coach, where color television, books and DVD players provide entertainment. Each coach is given the name of a princely state and furnished in luxurious taste to suit its name.
